The Adventure Begins!

So today I received the call from Project Homecoming and they offered me a position as a Construction Assistant starting in September! My thoughts immediately turned to the wind rushing through my hair as I'm captaining my very own shrimp boat... but then I remembered that I'm really going to be down there to be rebuilding homes. Maybe that can be my side job, if I find the right first man (preferably named Dan with a missing appendage or two..) But for real, I'm very excited to be going down to New Orleans to help an area that has been hit so hard in the past few years. More news to come as the preparations begin!
